Chestnut Hill

Our challenge was to fit a new 3,400 SF dwelling well contextually with its neighbors on an older, established residential street in Chestnut Hill, while developing a contemporary, less formalized floor plan within the walls.  The site fell within the boundaries of the Wissahickon Watershed and met the criteria for storm water management (ERSA) while also meeting a demanding program on a severely sloping site, featured by a drive through access, multiple terraces, swimming pool and waterfall spa.
